The Australian Institute of Landscape Architects<\/a> (AILA) has announced the winners of the 2025 National Landscape Architecture Awards<\/a> at the annual Festival of Landscape Architecture<\/a>. A total of 36 projects were recognised across 17 categories, highlighting the profession\u2019s response to climate challenges, community needs, and cultural recognition.<\/p>\n

Jury chair Kate Luckraft noted that this year\u2019s entries reflected \u201ca deeper understanding of Country and community,\u201d and commended the growing strength of First Nations collaboration and interdisciplinary design.<\/p>\n

Major Awards<\/h2>\n

The President\u2019s Award<\/strong> went to Green Pathways, Gold Places<\/a>, a cross-disciplinary initiative led by AILA, the Australian Institute of Architects, the Design Institute of Australia, and the Planning Institute of Australia.<\/p>\n

Living Lab Northern Rivers (LLNR) received the Award of Excellence in Community Contribution<\/strong> and a Regional Achievement<\/strong> award, recognising its collaborative post-flood recovery work.<\/p>\n
